Sunny Dhillon is a founder and partner at Signia Ventures, an early stage, $85m VC fund in the Bay Area. He invests in computer vision, virtual/augmented reality, autonomous vehicles, consumer mobile tech, and media. He was the largest seed investor in Cruise Automation which exited to GM for $1bn+ in 2016. He’s invested in 3 VR companies (8i, Eonite, & a stealth co.) and is an advisor to UploadVR and TheWaveVR. 
Sunny is a regular VR / AR industry speaker and thought leader, having been featured on Bloomberg Television, and in VentureBeat, Forbes, TechCrunch, ReCode, and others. In the last year alone (’15-’16), Sunny has been an industry speaker at the White House, United Nations, Zurich Film Festival, Tokyo CEDEC gaming conference, Beijing Global Innovator VR Conference, London’s AR/VR World, and Istanbul Webrazzi Conference, among over 50 other VR/AR events. He regularly presents research and thoughts on how VR/AR will disrupt incumbent industries and works closely with startups raising seed capital in the space, seeing over 100 prospective VR/AR investment opportunities per month. Sunny’s fund, Signia, will make between 5-8 investments per year, investing between $500k and $3m for an initial investment. 

Ned Sherman is an entrepreneur, media executive and attorney. He is Co-Founder and Chairman of Digital Media Wire, where he heads operations, business development, and strategy for the company’s publications and event properties including Digital Entertainment World (an IDG World Expo joint venture), New York Media Festival, Live Streaming Conference (a partnership with The NAB Show), LA Games Conference and the Digital Media Wire, Rights Tech and Digital Music Insider newsletters. He is creator and chair of the DEW Startup Competition, a partnership with Rackspace and IDG Ventures, which has awarded over $900,000 in cash and prizes to startups throughout the world.

He has a particular expertise in managing and executing global ventures and has a keen understanding of risk analysis. Global work includes securing and negotiating deals with Warner Music and LEVI Strauss for a global celebrity and working with Universal Studios on distribution of motion picture and television products in the international free and basic cable television marketplace in Japan and Singapore.
